Shalom Orphanage
The orphanage opened in March 2006. We have 27 boys ranging from 5 to 13 years of age. God has allowed us to shelter, care and love these children. Some orphans only have one single parent or no parents at all. While other orphans was left abandoned to their other family members. Due to poverty, they were not properly taken care of. The children needs are not being fulfilled. We are so thankful to God that He allowed us to provide them with a loving and caring home. They are able to receive food and not be hungry anymore. The children are also attending a public school near the orphanage. Education is important for the children's future. We strongly encourage their education. They are also all in good health. Through the love of Christ, we are to take care of their educational, health, emotional and spiritual needs.
In God's hands we want to open more orphanages, to help as many orphans (children) in need. Many orphans are in great need of safe and clean homes. Many of them need proper care (love), shelter, food, and education. If you have a heart to help orphans in India, please pray and consider becoming a sponsor by making a difference in a child's life. Please pray that God will provide our own land to build an orphanage. Please pray that God will allow us to open another orphanage for girls soon.
