Evangelism Persecution
Evangelism is important in our ministry. Evangelism is not easy however through the holy spirit we are able to touch people's lives with the word of truth. We aren't able to do door to door ministry due to the persecution that we encounter from the hindu religion. There are 79.83% hindus, 12.50% muslims, 2.40% christians, 1.92% sikh. Christians are a small population however God is working in India and saving souls. In most areas of India, evangelism is restricted among the society. There are antichristian group that inslict harassment, beating and killings. Most of our evangelism is done in the streets with gospel tracts. And many are afraid to accept Him due to the persecution of their own family members and the society. Many born again christian indians (first generation) are persecuted by their own family. God gives us the strength to His servants to handle the persecution for His kingdom.
Evangelism is greatly needed in this country of India. India has a great deal of oppression and poverty. It is the second most populist in the world. This can cause many environmental problems and lack of resources in this country. The word can free them from the misery of oppression and gain eternal salvation. We hope and pray that God would save many souls in India.
Please pray that God will provide financial resource to send evangelists out in different areas of India to establish His Kingdom.
